Joy Thom, M.A., CCC-A Boulder Valley Hearing Center AudiologistsJoy received her Master's Degree from the University of Colorado in 1984 and has been with Boulder Valley Hearing Associates for 25 years. She is passionate about helping people to hear and enriching the lives of others. Joy holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is a charter member of the American Academy of Audiology and is registered with the state of Colorado.

 

Gina Muhlberg, M.A., CCC-A

Gina Muhlberg, M.A., CCC-A Boulder Valley Hearing Center AudiologistGina earned her Master's Degree in Audiology from the University of Colorado in 1979. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is also a member of the American Academy of Audiology. Gina has spent most of her professional career working in ENT practices with an emphasis on hearing aid fitting. She participated in the Boulder Community Hospital Foundation medical mission to Mante, Mexico as part of a team of audiologists which provides over 300 hearing aids annually. On a personal note, Gina is a member of Coal Creek Rotary and the larger organization of Rotary International.

 

  

 

Shawn Denham, Au.D.

Shawn Denham, Au.D. Boulder Valley Hearing Center AudiologistsShawn Denham, a graduate of Nova Southeastern University, has been providing outstanding diagnostic and aural rehabilitative care on the Colorado Front Range since August of 2010. During her studies, Shawn gained extensive experience working with tinnitus patients under Dr. Paul Davis, founder of Neuromonics. She is committed to educating people and helping them improve their quality of life through better hearing, balance, and tinnitus relief. Shawn is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and The American Tinnitus Association.

*Meg Cates, Au.D. 

Meg received her doctor of audiology degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2011. She has a strong background in counseling patients on a variety of hearing-related issues. She is dedicated to providing quality, evidenced-based hearing care and improving patient outcomes through appropriate amplification. Meg also has a Bachelor's degree in Spanish. In her free time she enjoys reading, crochet, typography, exploring our wonderful state, and enjoying our friendly local culture.
